This Indian Standard (Part 27/Sec 4) which is identical with IEC 60034-27-4 : 2018 —Rotating electrical machines — Part 27-4: Measurement of insulation resistance and polarization index of winding insulation of rotating electrical machines’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Rotating Machinery Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
