This Indian Standard (Part 13) (First Revision) which is identical with IEC 60079-13 : 2017 ‘Explosive atmospheres - Part 13: Equipment protection by pressurized room “p” and artificially ventilated room “v” ’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Atmospheres Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 2017 in line with IEC 60079-13 : 2010. This revision has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of IEC 60079-13 : 2017.
