NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 19) (Second Revision) is identical with IEC 60079-19 : 2019 ‘Explosive atmospheres Part 19 Equipment repair, overhaul, and reclamation’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Atmosphere Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.

This Standard covers the requirement of ‘Explosive atmospheres equipment repair, overhaul and reclamation’ which was previously covered in IS/IEC 60079-19 : 2010.

This revision has been undertaken to align with the latest version of IEC 60079-19 : 2019.
