This Indian Standard (Part 1) (Second Revision) which is identical with IEC 60143-1 : 2015 ‘Series capacitors for power systems - Part 1: General’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Power Capacitors Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
