NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 2) which is identical with IEC 60189-2 : 2007 'Low-frequency cables and wires with PVC insulation and PVC sheath - Part 2: Cables in pairs, triples, quads and quintuples for inside installations' issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Wires, Cables, Waveguides and Accessories Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
