NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with IEC 60195 : 2016 ‘Method of measurement of current noise generated in fixed resistors’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Semiconductor Devices Components and Electronic Assembly Technology Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.

IS 5027 was published in 1969. This Standard was based on Publication No. 195 Method of measurement of current noise generated in fixed resistors by IEC and Draft B. S. Document No. 66/2219 Method of measurement of current noise generated in fixed resistors published by British Standards Institution (BSI). This superseding of Standard is being published combine to align it with the latest version of IEC 60195 : 2016. On publication of this standards IS 5027 : 1969 stands withdrawn.
