NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 15) which is identical with IEC 60384-15 : 2017 ‘Fixed capacitors for use in electronic equipment - Part 15: Sectional specification: Fixed tantalum capacitors with non-solid or solid electrolyte’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Semiconductor Devices Components and Electronic Assembly Technology Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.

IS/QC 300200 : 2000 was first published in 2000 and was identical with IEC Pub 384-15/IEC QC 300200 : 1982. This superseding of Standard is being done to align it with the latest version of IEC 60384-15 : 2017. On publication of this standards IS QC 300200 : 2000 stand withdrawn.
