NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with IEC 60440 : 2012 ‘Method of measurement of non-linearity in resistors’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Semiconductor Devices Components and Electronic Assembly Technology Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.

IS 13504 was first published in 1992 and was identical to IEC Pub 440 (1973). This superseding of Standard is being done to align it with the latest version of IEC 60440 : 2012. On publication of this standards IS 13504 : 1992 stands withdrawn.
