This Indian Standard (Part 1/Section 1) which is identical with IEC 60512-1-1 : 2002 ‘Connectors for electronic equipment tests and measurements Part 1-1: General examination test 1a: Visual examination’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Electromechanical Components and Mechanical Structures for Electronic Equipment Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
