NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 13) which is identical with IEC 60603-13 : 1995 ‘Connectors for frequencies below 3 MHz for use with printed boards - Part 13: Detail specification for two-part connectors of assessed quality, for printed boards for basic grid of 2.54 mm (0.1 in), with free connectors for non-accessible insulation displacement terminations (ID)’ issued by the International Electro technical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Electromechanical Components and Mechanical Structures for Electronic Equipment’s Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.

This Indian Standard is published in 12 parts. The other parts in this series are:

The text of IEC Standard has been approved as suitable for publication as an Indian Standard without deviations. Certain conventions and terminologies are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:

a) Wherever the words ‘International Standard’ appears referring to this standard, they should be read as ‘Indian Standard’.

b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal marker, while in Indian Standards, the current practice is to use a point (.) as the decimal marker.
