NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 1/Sec 40) which is identical with IEC 60695-1-40 : 2013 ‘Fire hazard testing - Part 1-40: Guidance for assessing the fire hazard of electro technical products - Insulating liquids’ issued by International Electro technical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Environmental Testing Procedure Sectional Committee, and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
