NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with IEC 61076-1 : 2019 ‘Connectors for electronic equipment - Product requirements - Part 1: Generic specification’ issued by the International Electro technical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Electromechanical Components and Mechanical Structures for Electronic Equipment’s Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
