NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with IEC 61308 : 2015 ‘High-frequency dielectric heating installations - Test methods for the determination of power output’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Basic Industrial Process Measurement and Control Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.

This standard superseding IS/IEC 1308 : 1994 ‘High frequency dielectric heating installations - Test methods for the determination of power output ‘, identical with IEC 1308 : 1994 . After the publication of this standard, IS/IEC 1308 : 1994 shall be treated as withdrawn.
