NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 4) (First Revision) which is identical with IEC 61850-4 : 2020 ‘Communication Networks and Systems for Power Utility Automation - Part 4: System and project management (first revision)’ was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Environmental Conditions Testing Procedures for Electronic Products Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.

This Standard was originally published in 2017 and was identical to IEC 61850-4 : 2011. The first revision of this Standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of IEC 61850-4 : 2020.
