NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 301) (First Revision) which is identical with IEC 61970-301 : 2022 ‘Energy management system application program interface (EMS-API) - Part 301: Common information model (CIM) base’issued by the International Electotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Power System Control and Associated Communications Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.

This Standard was originally published in 2017 and was identical to IEC 61970-301 : 2013. The first revision of this Standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of IEC 61970-301 : 2022.
