This Indian Standard (Part 5) which is identical with IEC 62087-5 : 2015 ‘Audio, video and related equipment determination of power consumption Part 5: Set top boxes (STB)’, issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Audio, Video and Multimedia Systems and Equipment Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
