This Indian Standard (Part 2/Sec 1) which is identical with IEC 62226-2-1 : 2004 ‘Exposure to electric or magnetic fields in the low and intermediate frequency range — Methods for calculating the current density and internal electric field induced in the human body — Part 2-1: Exposure to magnetic fields — 2D models’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
