Revised Standard from Last Update.

NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical with IEC 62275 : 2018 ‘Cable management systems - Cable ties for electrical installations’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Electrical Wiring Accessories Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.

This standard was first published in 2013. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of IEC 62275 : 2018.

This revision includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:

a) Consideration of adhesive fixing devices,

b) Revised and updated normative references,

c) Modified definitions for metallic and composite cable ties,

d) New definitions,

e) Improvement of test procedures, and

f) New figures for typical arrangement of test assembly for fixing devices and for integral fixing devices.
