NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 7) which is identical with IEC 62351-7 : 2017 ‘Power systems management and associated information exchange Data and communications security - Part 7: Network and System Management (NSM) data object models.’ was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of Power System Control and Associated Communications Sectional Committee, and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.

This Standard was originally published in 2010 which was identical with IEC/TS 62351-7 : 2010 ‘Power systems management and associated information exchange data and communications security - Part 7: Network and system management NSM data objects model’. The first revision of this Standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of IEC 62351-7 : 2017.
