NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 2/Sec 6) which is identical with IEC 62642-2-6 : 2010 ‘Alarm systems - Intrusion and hold-up systems - Part 2-6: Intrusion detectors - Opening contacts (magnetic)’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Alarms and Electronic Security Systems sectional Committeeand approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
