NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 1/Sec 3) which is identical with IEC 62680-1-3 : 2022 ‘Universal serial bus interfaces for data and power - Part 1-3: Common components - USB Type-C® cable and connector specification’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Audio, Video and Multimedia Systems and Equipment Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
