NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 1039 : 1995 ‘Cinematography - Cores for motion-picture and magnetic film rolls - Dimensions’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Photographic Equipment Sectional Committee and approval of the Mechanical Engineering Division Council.

This Indian standard supersedes IS 6097 : 1971 ‘Dimensions for cores for motion picture magnetic film’.
