NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 3) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 10524-3 : 2019 ‘Pressure regulators for use with medical gases - Part 3: Pressure regulators integrated with cylinder valves (VIPRs)’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization was adopted by Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Anaesthetic, Resuscitation and Allied Equipment Sectional Committee and after approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 2005 which was identical with ISO 10524-3 : 2005 ‘Pressure regulators for use with medical gases - Part 3: Pressure regulators integrated with cylinder valves (VIPRs)’. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 10524-3 : 2019.
