This Indian Standard (Part D02) which is identical with ISO 105-D02 : 2016 ‘Textiles - Tests for colour fastness - Part D02: Colour fastness to rubbing: Organic solvents’ issued by the International organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Chemical Methods of Test Sectional Committee and approval of the Textiles Division Council.

This standard supersedes IS 3426 : 1982 ‘Method for determination of colour fastness of textile materials to rubbing with organic solvents (first revision)’.
