NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part N01) which is identical with ISO 105-N01:1993 ‘Textiles - Tests for colour fastness - Part N01: Colour fastness to bleaching: Hypochlorite’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Chemical Methods of Test Sectional Committee and approval of the Textile Division Council.

This Indian Standards supersedes IS 762 : 1988 ‘Method for determination of colour fastness of textile materials to hypochlorite bleaching (first revision).
