NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part N03) which is identical with ISO 105-N03 : 1993 ‘Textiles - Tests for colour fastness - Part N03: Colour fastness to bleaching - Sodium chlorite (mild)’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of Chemical Methods of Test Sectional Committee and approval of the Textile Division Council.

This Indian Standard supersedes IS 987 : 1988 ‘Method for determination of colour fastness of textile materials to bleaching with sodium chlorite (first revision )’.
