This Indian Standard (Part S01) which is identical with ISO 105-S01 : 1993 Textiles - Tests for colour fastness - Part S01: Colour fastness to vulcanization: Hot air’ issued by the International organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Chemical Methods of Test Sectional Committee and approval of the Textiles Division Council.

This standard supersedes IS 4635 (Part 1) : 1968, ‘Method for determination of colour fastness of textile materials to vulcanizing Part 1 with hot air.’
