NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part S02) which is identical with ISO 105-S02 : 1993 ‘Textiles - Tests for colour fastness - Part S02: Colour fastness to vulcanization : Sulfur monochloride’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Chemical Methods of Test Sectional Committee and approval of the Textiles Division Council.

This standard supersedes IS 4635 (Part 2) : 1968 ‘Method for determination of colour fastness of textile materials to vulcanizing: Part 1 with sulphur monochloride.’
