This Indian Standard (Part 14) which is identical with ISO 105-X14 : 1994 ‘Textiles - Tests for colour fastness - Part X14: Colour fastness to acid chlorination of wool: Sodium dichloroisocyanurate’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Chemical Methods of Test Sectional Committee and approval of the Textiles Division Council.

This standard supersedes IS 967 : 1956 ‘Method for determination of colour fastness of textile materials to acid chlorination’.
