NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 4) which is identical with ISO 11040-4 : 2015 ‘Prefilled syringes — Part 4: Glass barrels for injectables and sterilized sub-assembled syringes ready for filling’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Hospital Equipment and Surgical Disposable Products Sectional Committee and approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.
