NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 11249 : 2018 ‘Copper-bearing intrauterine contraceptive devices — Guidance on the design, execution, analysis and interpretation of clinical studies’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Obstetrics and Gynaecological Instruments and Appliances Sectional Committee and after approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.
