NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 11986 : 2017 ‘Ophthalmic optics - Contact lenses and contact lens care products — Determination of preservative uptake and release’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization has been adopted by Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Ophthalmic Instruments and Appliances Sectional Committee and approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.
