NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 12097-3 : 2002 Road vehicles - Airbag components - Part 3: Testing of inflator assemblies issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of the Passive Safety Crash Protection Systems Sectional Committee and approval of the Transport Engineering Division Council.

ISO 12097-3 was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 22, Road vehicles, Subcommittee SC 12, Passive safety crash protection systems.
