Trus Indian Standard wh ich ISIdentical with ISO 14025 : 2006 'Envi. .mrnentat tabels and declarations - Type III environmental declarations - Principles and procedures' issued by the International Organization for Standardizanon ( ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Envrronrnental Management Sectional Committee and approval of the Chemical Division Council.

The text ot ISO Standard has been approved as suitable for publication as an Indian Standard without deviat ions. Ce rta in co nventions are, however, no t identical to those used In Indian Standards. Attention is particu larly drawn to the tollowrnq:

a) Wherever the words 'Intemanor al Standard' appear referring to this standard , they should be read as 'Indian Standard' .

b) Comma (,Jhas been used as a decimal marker In the International Standards while in Indian Standards, the current practice IS to use a po rnt (.Jas the decimal marker.
