This Indian Standard (Part 2) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 14708-2 : 2019 ‘Implants for surgery - Active implantable medical devices — Part 2: Cardiac pacemakers’ issued by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Electromedical, Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy Equipment Sectional Committee and approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.
