This Indian Standard (Part 8) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 15118-8 : 2020 ‘Road vehicles - Vehicle to grid communication interface - Part 8: Physical layer and data link layer requirements for wireless communication’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Electrotechnology in Mobility Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council

This standard was originally published in 2019 and was identical with ISO 15118-8 : 2018. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 15118-8 : 2020.
