NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 1) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 18650-1 : 2021 ‘Building construction machinery and equipment - Concrete mixers - Part 1: Commercial specifications’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Construction Plant and Machinery Sectional Committee and approval of the Mechanical Engineering Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 2018 and was identical with the ISO 18650-1 : 2004. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 18650-1 : 2021.

This standard supersedes IS 11386 : 1985 ‘Glossary of Terms Relating to Concrete Mixtures’.
