This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with ISO 1984-1 : 2001 ‘Test conditions for manually controlled milling machines with table of fixed height - Testing of the accuracy - Part 1: Machines with horizontal spindle’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Machine Tools, Machine Tool Elements and Holding Devices Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.
