NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 21188 : 2018 ‘Public key infrastructure for financial services - Practices and policy framework’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Banking and Financial Services Sectional Committee and approval of the Services Sector Division Council.

This standard was first published in 2012 as an identical adoption of ISO 21188 : 2006 ‘Public key infrastructure for financial services - Practices and policy framework’ under single numbering system. This first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 21188 : 2018.
