IS/ISO 21360 : Part 2 : 2020 Vacuum Technology - Standard Method for Measuring Vacuum- Pump Performance Part 2 Positive Displacement Vacuum PumpsNew Standard from Last Update.
NATIONAL FOREWORD
This Indian Standard (Part 2) which is identical with ISO 21360-2 : 2020 ‘Vacuum technology - Standard method for measuring vacuum-pump performance - Part 2: Positive displacement vacuum pumps’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Chemical Engineering Plants and Related Equipment Sectional Committee and approval of the Mechanical Engineering Division Council.
This standard was first issued in 1973 as ‘Methods of measurement of the performance characteristics of positive-displacement vacuum pumps’, the standard was subsequently revised and published in three parts as given below:
IS 6849 (Part 1) : 1993 Positive displacement vacuum pumps Measurement of performance characteristics: Part 1 measurement of volume rate of flow (Pumping Speed).
IS 6849 (Part 2) : 1989 Positive displacement vacuum pumps Measurement of performance characteristics: Part 2 Measurement of ultimate pressure.
IS 6849 (Part 3) : 1976 Methods of measurement of the performance characteristics of positive displacement vacuum pumps: Part 3 Water vapour pumping capacity.
