NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 11) which is identical with ISO 26262-11 : 2018 ‘Road vehicles - Functional safety - Part 11: Guidelines on application of ISO 26262 to semiconductors’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Automotive Electrical Equipment and Instruments Sectional Committee and after approval of the Transport Engineering Division Council.
