NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 12) which is identical with ISO 26262-12 : 2018 ‘Road vehicles - Functional safety - Part 12 : Adaption of ISO 26262 for motorcycles’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Automotive Electrical Equipment and Instruments Sectional Committee and after approval of the Transport Engineering Division Council.
