NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 9) which is identical with ISO 26262-9 : 2018 ‘Road vehicles - Functional safety - Part 9: Automotive safety integrity level (ASIL)-oriented and safety-oriented analyses’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Automotive Electrical Equipment and Instruments Sectional Committee and approval of the Transport Engineering Division Council.
