NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 26782 : 2009 ‘Anaesthetic and respiratory equipment - Spirometers intended for the measurement of time forced expired volumes in humans’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization was adopted by Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Anaesthetic, Resuscitation and Allied Equipment Sectional Committee and approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.
