NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 31073:2022 ‘Risk Management – Vocabulary’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Risk Management, Security and Resilience Sectional Committee MSD 17 and approval of the Management and Systems Division Council.

This standard was initially adopted as ‘Risk Management – Vocabulary’ in 2015, which was adoption of ISO Guide 73: 2009. This standard is aligned with ISO 31073:2022 and is adopted under single numbering superseding IS/ISO Guide 73: 2009.
