IS/ISO 342 : 1983 Textile Machinery and Accessories - Worsted and Woollen Cards - Width of Cylinder and Width on the Wire

NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 342 : 1983 Textile machinery and accessories - Worsted and woollen cards - Width of cylinder and width on the wire, issued by International Organization for Standardization was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Spinning Preparatory, Spinning and Doubling (Twisting) Machinery Sectional Committee and approval of the Textile Division Council.

This standard supersedes IS 7488 : 1974 Working widths of worsted and woollen cards to ensure harmonization of National Standard with the correspoing International Standard.

Wherever the words International Standard appear as referring to this standard, they should be read as Indian Standard.
