NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 50009 : 2021 ‘Energy management systems - Guidance for implementing a common energy management system in multiple organizations’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Energy Management and Energy Savings Sectional Committee and approval of the Mechanical Engineering Division Council.
