This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 518 : 2006 —Photography — Camera accessory shoes, with and without electrical contacts for photoflash lamps and electronic photoflash units – Specification’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Photographic and Cinematographic Equipment Sectional Committee, MED 32 and approval of the Mechanical Engineering Division Council.
