This indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with ISO 5983-1 : 2005 ‘Animal feeding stuffs — Determination of nitrogen content and calculation of crude protein content — Part 1: Kjeldahl method’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Livestock Feeds, Equipment and Systems Sectional Committee qnd approval of the Food and Agriculture Division Council.
