NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 673 : 1981 ‘Soaps — Determination of content of ethanol-insoluble matter’ issued by the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Soaps and Other Surface Active Agents Sectional Committee and approval of the Chemical Division Council.
